Frugal Patti

In this first post, I’d like to tell you a little about myself. When I was quite young, my grandmother made a huge impression on me. She taught me lessons such as, “Watch your pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves!” I took these wise proverbs to heart and have learned valuable lessons from her throughout my life, and still do to this day. I’ve always been able to stretch a dollar, spend money wisely, and know the value of saving all I can. I strongly believe that living frugally doesn’t have to be living with lack, but a means to attain the “things’ and lifestyle that means the most to me. As we are now officially in a recession, most American’s need to (or are forced to) return to the basics of frugal living that American’s lived by during the great depression. I look forward to sharing tips that I have learned in my life, as well as any money saving offers as I find them to help your money go farther too.
